so its a tuesday night and im at home. no not in my dorm, not in Menomonie actually. i am literally back home in Minnetonka Minnesota, or more specifically, Excelsior.
i just got in from getting a hair cut for the first time in about... i don't even know and my brother says to me, "i feel like you don't even go to college.."
i just died of laughter, cause really i don't feel like i am either. iv been home about five times since school started, im only doing 12 credits this semester so i barely have class, which only leaves more time to sleep or 'nap' i barely have any home work because everything that im assigned i really don't mind doing so it doesn't even seem like homework. like right now, im writing this blog post because i thought of somting to write about and its part of my home work for my technical writing class... and im home.
also, the reason i came home in the first place: i was on my way to the Mall of America to meet my mom to buy the new iPhone 4S. but it had to be black and only 16 GB so this was like the 5th time i had tried to get it. once i got to Woodberry my mom called and said that i could turn around because they ran out right after she got there. so like two and a half minutes after i had turned around i called my mom and asked if she had called Ridgedale center and turned around again. she called me back saything that they did have some left so we decided to meet her there. right around 3:26 i hit the cities where i also hit rush hour traffic. there was a semi behind me in stop and go.. and he was participating in the stop and go.. as in he was stopping and going whether i was or not. he was literally on my ass, and not in a good way. he was scarring the shit out of me and i had to cut someone off just to get out of the lane cause i was freaking out so much. im not kidding it was like a transformer was tailgating me. when we would stop, i would stick my head in the back to look up and him and he was so close that i couldn't get a view of him. i seriously thought he was going to hit me. this was only adding to my annoyance of all the semis on 94 on my way out of WI. there would be two of them in different lanes right next to each other... driving the speed limit... it was so annoying. and i guess that doesn't really make me giggle.
Driving is always very stressful. I think that it is really funny/ scary when people get so pissed off at you for doing the right thing. I got the bird flipped to me when I was turning right into the closest available lane as she was turning left into the far lane ( my lane). The theory is that you can both turn at the same time but she was not even turning into her lane. It was really funny to see her get all angry but she was doing something wrong and she was angry about it but just got to brush it off and keep driving.:)
ReplyDeleteMy younger sister has said the same thing about not being in college to me before too! It's so easy to go home a lot, because this school and town is so small! PS, I live in Minnetonka/Wayzata area too :)
